Objective

The Property Requirements aim to ensure a safe, healthy, and suitable environment for hosting Young People, within a framework of trust between families.

These requirements apply to all Host Families wishing to list their home on the MyFamilyAbroad Platform ("MFA").

Compliance with these rules is mandatory. Any breach may result in refusal of registration, temporary suspension, or permanent exclusion.

1. Property Eligibility

To be eligible on the MFA Platform, the property must meet all of the following conditions:

• The property must be legally occupied by the applying Member: either as an owner, or as a tenant with the landlord's authorization if required.
• The property must be the actual home of the family (primary or declared secondary residence).
• The property must be located in a geographic area served by MFA and compliant with current internal criteria.

👉 MFA reserves the discretionary right to accept, refuse, suspend, or remove any property from the Platform, at any time.

2. Mandatory Insurance

The Member must have:

• homeowner's insurance (if owner), or
• tenant's insurance (if tenant),
• covering the property during the hosting period.

The Member is responsible for verifying that their insurance contract does not exclude the hosting of third parties, particularly minors.

3. General Safety and Health

The property must present no known or apparent danger to occupants, including:

• no health or structural risks,
• no significant mold, active leaks, or dangerous installations,
